The physician’s views regarding the patient’s lifestyle, beliefs, and social or economic status must not influence the care or treatment provided.
THE THOROUGH INSPECTION
For us, the therapeutic relationship between doctor and patient is unique and goes beyond a mere superficial, transactional encounter. The doctor fosters mutual trust and respect, listens to his or her patients, and respects their opinions and dignity, while maintaining complete confidentiality regarding their personal matters. We believe that the physician has a duty to fully and clearly inform the patient about the true state of their health, the content and outcomes of the proposed medical treatment, the consequences and potential risks, alternative options, as well as the likely recovery time, so that the patient can form a complete picture of the medical, social, and financial factors and consequences of his or her condition and proceed, accordingly, in the manner he or she desires.

Ο ιατρός ενεργεί με βάση την εκπαίδευση του, την πείρα και τις δεξιότητες του καθώς και με τους κανόνες της τεκμηριωμένης και βασισμένης σε ενδείξεις ιατρικής επιστήμης. Our clinic serves people of all ages. Over the years, we have built close relationships with many families, and that is exactly what we strive for. We want to foster personal communication and ensure that the whole family feels comfortable in our space. Establishing an ongoing care relationship with the doctor results in personal familiarity with each family’s long-term medical history and health goals. In some cases, the doctor may need to refer patients to specialists in other fields or subspecialties, coordinating the patient’s care through ongoing monitoring and updates.

Ophthalmic Surgeon Pavlos Greveniotis has been trained in anterior (including refractive lasers and cataract surgery) and posterior segment surgery, as well as eyelid disorders and strabismus, at the largest ophthalmology clinic, Ophthalmos Eye and Laser Centre, in Cyprus. He completed his residency at the General State Hospital of Genimatas, the largest ophthalmology referral center in Athens.
