Our clinic is equipped with an OCT machine, also known as optical coherence tomography, which is a non-invasive technology used to image the retina and the optic nerve. On its own or in combination with fluorescein angiography and angiography, OCT has emerged as the method of choice for diagnosing and monitoring most retinal diseases, in investigating their pathogenic mechanisms, and in the quantitative determination of certain parameters. Equally important is the contribution of optical coherence tomography to the study and monitoring of glaucoma patients. This examination is considered essential for the diagnosis and selection of appropriate treatment for a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, such as macular degeneration, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, macular edema, and optic nerve damage. The entire procedure is completely painless and takes about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \t
